Microsoft's brand new, revamped Xbox 360 - the black Xbox 360 Elite - isn't due to go on sale in the US until next week. But that hasn't stopped one American gamer snatching up the bundle from his local Target store and slapping it on Ebay.
The Xbox 360 Elite, which includes a black HDMI-enabled 360 with a 120GB hard drive, black wireless controller and HDMI lead, launches in America on Sunday 29 April. How this Ebayer convinced Target to part with the hardware is unknown, but a brand-marked receipt appears with his listing as proof that the console has been purchased.
There's been 15 bids since the listing was uploaded last night, with the highest bidder offering $600 (or %26pound;300), just over $120 (%26pound;60) more than the $479.99 (%26pound;240) retail price tag. Although this still hasn't reached seller pushkinbeagle's reserve price.
