Weekend Spent: Aug. 18 - 19

Hollander Cooper: I have company over this weekend, so it's all about party games. You Don't Know Jack, Scene It, a smattering of board games, and a healthy, heaping dose of sightseeing.

Sophia Tong: I've been meaning to jump back into Minecraft. The last world I was playing in for some reason decided to start lagging, and it's impossible to play. I can't explain it, but I just have the urge to dig.

Sterling McGarvey: In light of the kick-off to the English Premier League and La Liga this weekend, I will be playing some FIFA 12 with my friends before putting it out to pasture, once and for all. When I'm not kicking a ball around, I'll be brushing up on Beyond Good & Evil HD HD for our upcoming Game Club finale. I wish I had some cool "I'll be knee deep in Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders II" tales, but on-the-couch trash talk with my buddies and some catch-up time on classics will win out over "staying current."

Tom Magrino: So you may have already heard, but we’ve got this 24 Hour Gaming Marathon coming up next weekend, and wanting to do my part for charity, or whatever, I volunteered to run Team Fortress 2. Exciting, one of my favorite games of the last decade, hooray hooray. But here’s the thing: I haven’t played TF2 in about two years. I don’t know why I’m mildly embarrassed by that. It just seems, I don’t know, like I’ve done something wrong. Like I haven’t been doing my part to sustain the human cause, or I’ve somehow betrayed my humanity. It’s very confusing. Needless to say, I’ll be playing TF2 this weekend.

So that's what we're doing. What are you playing?
