Need For Speed: Carbon - hands on
We let our lead foot loose on unsuspecting street racers
We've been huge fans of the Need For Speed series, but this latest episode just doesn't seem like the leap forward we were hoping for. It's still fun, but it also seems dated when compared to Most Wanted - a game that already came under fire for not being a large enough jump from current-gen quality. EA has assured us that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be virtually identical, so we'll take them at their word for the time being. Still, with Need For Speed: Carbon jetting towards its November release date, EA has precious little time to tune it into the profoundly impressive specimen NFS fans have been hoping for.
