Seduced And Abandoned review

A brisk stroll with Alec Baldwin...

Maverick director James Toback ( Fingers ) and Alec Baldwin front this frequently hilarious insider doc.

The set-up has the pair hitting Cannes 2012 to pitch a Last Tango In Paris -style drama, starring Baldwin and Neve Campbell, to financiers, distributors and the like.

Baldwin gets particularly humbled (dubbed a “TV actor” by one money-man – ouch!) as this dynamic duo realise their CVs count for squat in the brutal world of film funding.

The results are revealing rather than revelatory, but chats with Ryan Gosling and Coppola, Scorsese and Polanski flesh out the fun.
