A new clip has emerged online from Muppets Most Wanted , introducing Ricky Gervais’s character, the ominously named Dominic Badguy.
Of course, according to Gervais, that name is nothing to be concerned about… it’s French for “good manâ€, after all. Isn’t it?
Badguy is keen to represent the Muppets on a global scale, but despite the excitement of his furry pals, old Kermit isn’t so sure this is an arrangement they should be agreeing to.

Just what Badguy has planned for the Muppets remains to be seen, but we’d wager it’s nothing good. That said, Gervais and Kermit already seem like natural co-stars… more of this please!
Directed by James Bobin and co-starring Tina Fey and Ty Burrell, Muppets Most Wanted will open in the UK on 28 March 2014.
