You never asked for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's pre-order scheme, so they canceled it

The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Augment Your Pre-Order Program has been deactivated. The promotion, which let players choose from a growing list of bonuses as more and more pre-orders were placed, was officially scrapped by Square Enix and Eidos Montreal in response to "resounding" negative feedback.

As an apology and/or the least messy way to get out of the situation, Square Enix will now award everybody who pre-orders the game or buys its Day 1 edition everything that was in Augment Your Pre-Order. Everything except the early Mankind Divided release date, anyway, which is now set at regular ol' February 23, 2016 for everybody.

Mankind Divided's choose-your-own-bonus structure was a bit convoluted (pre-order now, get a code, punch in your code, choose your bonus, wait for the next tier to unlock, choose again), but now that it's gone, we're left with a whole bunch of incentives: three extra outfits complete with weapon and Praxis boosts, a soundtrack and digital artbook, a digital novella and comic book, and an extra mission. It's all yours as long as you snag a Day 1 Edition.
