27. It's A Wonderful Life (1946)
Why It's Rewatchable: Fact--if you don't watch this every year on 24th December, you're doing Christmas wrong.

25. Monty Python And The Holy Grail (1975)
Why It's Rewatchable: The perfect balance between long-form plot and the sketch-show anarchy of the Flying Circus, this is practically a Greatest Hits package.
If You Only Rewatch One Scene: The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog meets its comeuppance at the hands of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.
24. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
Why It's Rewatchable: Largely because the film became a classic slowly and without hype, everybody feels like they have a personal connection to Andy Dufresne's struggle.
If You Only Rewatch One Scene: Warden Norton discovers not only that Andy has been digging a tunnel all this time, but that the cheeky sod has somehow managed to stick his Raquel Welch poster back over the hole from the inside.
23. Singin' In The Rain (1952)
Why It's Rewatchable: All song & dance movies are tailor-made for dipping into, but because this one also celebrates/satirises the movies, it's also a film buff's Bible.
If You Only Rewatch One Scene: Gene Kelly's splish-sploshing in the puddles with only an umbrella for company works best without being dicked about with CGI in a car advert.
22. The Big Lebowski (1998)
Why It's Rewatchable: The Coens at their least cruel, this is the kind of laidback joy that really ties your mood together.
If You Only Rewatch One Scene: John Goodman's finest hour, smashing a car to bits as he tells a child, "This is how it feels when a stranger fucks you in the ass."
