Tomb Raider reboots

Shorts-flaunting archaeologist Lara Croft and her ponytail of power may have been in cinematic deep-freeze since 2003's The Cradle Of Life, but plans continue for a big screen revival of the '90s PlayStation icon. And this time we'll be witness to the secret origin of Lara.

"We're rebooting Lara Croft," says producer Dan Lin, doorstopped on the red carpet at the US premiere of Terminator Salvation. "Really excited - it's a great origin story that we're going to tell. Very character-oriented, I would say more realistic than the past Lara Croft movies."

No word yet on who'll follow Angelina Jolie in the role but Transformers uber-babe Megan Fox is rumoured to be a contender.
