The Xbox One S Launch Edition arrives August 2

Microsoft has announced the smaller Xbox One S will be arriving in "select regions" on August the 2nd (you can check where below). There is apparently still time to preorder one at microsoftstore.com, or try your luck at select retailers on the day.

Quick catch up if you missed the details, or forgot: it's 40% smaller, finally sticks all the USB ports on the front (where God intended) and has a built in power supply. So no more bricks. There's also a new wireless controller and it lets you watch 4K Blu-rays and streams, with high dynamic range for both that and gaming.

It's $399 for the 2TB option, $349 for the 1TB and there's a 500GB for $299. Aaand here are the regions you can get it at: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and United States.

Anywhere not on that list will be getting it later in the year.
