Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp’s filmic team-up The Tourist has released its first poster online.
What with those two names and faces being up there as the most famous on the planet, it’s no surprise that the poster’s a no-frills affair that relies entirely on the simple stacking of their familiar features.
Set in Italy, The Tourist follows Frank (Depp), who visits the city to get over his ex. There, he meets the mysterious Elise (Jolie), and gets swept up into a “whirlwind of intrigue and danger”.
Just a few weeks ago, the film’s first trailer debuted online and hinted that this is a project that could have a brain to go with all that eye candy. Please let it be so.
