Extreme shenanigans
Cosplay has long been the hobby of choice for extreme Japanese gamers. Now this pastime of dressing up as your favorite game character has spawned a massive following complete with international clubs and events. The dedication and attention to detail many cosplayers put into their costumes is pretty impressive but it’s always fun to hunt out the, er, not so successful costumes, too.

Long-term damage?
If you’re going out in public to show off your outfit, make sure you put the effort in. Bungling your costume isn’t life threatening, but cosplay is all about style and dedication to your subject matter. It’s ultimately your pride at stake.
