Stephanie, Shane and Vince McMahon added to WWE 2K17 roster

The McMahon family has dominated WWE for the last three decades (unsurprising, really, given that they own the company) – and they're set to again boss its virtual universe too after being confirmed for WWE 2K17.

Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon will all feature in WWE 2K17, taking the number of confirmed characters to 27. You can view them all in GR+'s WWE 2K17 roster gallery.

Stephanie McMahon made the announcement of her family coming to the game on Twitter.

All three McMahons were playable in WWE 2K16, but in Shane's case we got an 'Attitude era' character design rather than one which depicted his current likeness. That will certainly change after he stepped into the ring (and leapt off a steel cage) against Undertaker at this year's WrestleMania.

More roster additions are expected in the coming weeks, with gameplay specifics revealed before, or at, Summerslam in mid-August. Naturally, GR+ will be there.

WWE 2K17 is released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on 11 October.
