JJ Abrams would be mighty impressed at the secrecy Marvel and co have managed to maintain with their brand new Spider-Man. There's a good chance we'll be getting one more trailer for Captain America: Civil War before it's released in cinemas, but I'd be very surprised if we get any more footage of the webhead in action. Of course, we also have a solo Spidey film to look forward to, and now it looks like we might have a title - Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The news comes to us via BBC, who spotted the recently registered URL SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com. There's a small chance this could be referencing an 80's comic-book run that included appearances from Captain America and Iron Man. If the film were to promise the same it would no doubt boost interest (and probably ticket sales).
Should this be the title, it would be perfect if only because this will be Spider-Man's first solo film since returning home to Marvel's Cinematic Universe. Seeing the web-slinger interact with Iron Man, Cap, and other Marvel heroes is going to be special, and with any luck it won't just be limited to Captain America: Civil War.
Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, and Zendaya, the as yet untitled Spider-Man reboot will swing into cinemas on July 7, 2017.
