Despite the fact that it didn't exactly rock the box office, there will be a sequel to video game adaptation Silent Hill.
You might remember that the original saw a woman (Radha Mitchell) searching for her ailing daughter, in the titular weird, desolate town.
It made $47 million across the pond, which is hardly the sort of figure that makes studios reach for the sequel level - and distributors Sony haven't actually signed on to anything.
But writer Roger Avary and producer Samuel Hadida of Davis Films seem convinced a follow-up can work.
But there's no word yet on what the sequel will include - and whether any of the survivors from the first film will return for the new one...
