Rogue Trooper Redux trailer asks, "Who is Rogue Trooper?" - and okay, yeah, good question

You might not have ever heard of Rogue Trooper, but this genetically-engineered supersoldier and first-place winner in the Dr. Manhattan look-alike contest has quite the storied legacy, including a BAFTA-nominated game. In fact, it is that very game, originally released in 2006, that is currently being remastered by Rebellion - who you might also recognize as creators of the Sniper Elite series.

Created in 1981 for the 2000 AD comic book series, Rogue Trooper (or "Rogue" for short) has been featured alongside characters like Judge Dredd and starred in several video games. He's been portrayed as both a tongue-in-cheek critique of militarism and an honest-to-goodness hero.

But really, all you need to know is that his fallen comrades live on with him, their consciousnesses occupying his rifle, his bag, and his helmet. Their names are Gunnar, Bagman, and Helm, respectively. Do you really need more?
