Ratchet and Clank collection release date revealed, plus demo bonus
Your patience has been rewarded
Originally announced back in March, the Ratchet and Clank remastered HD collection was hit with a delay that put the game's release date into question. Today, Sony announced on thePlayStation Blogthat the game is still coming, and will be hitting later this Summer.
The official release date they're currently offering is about a month and a half away on August 28, 2012. But they also had another announcement. To reward the fans for being so patient with them, they're also going to be including an exclusive (for now) demo of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
It's a small gift, considering that demo will almost certainly make it to the PSN eventually, but Sly Cooper is awesome and we miss him so we'll take it.
Ratchet and Clank Collection gathers together the original three PS2 games in the series: Ratchet and Clank, R&C: Going Commando, and R&C: Up your Arsenal. The re-release will feature gussied up graphics and the chance to experience their online modes if you weren't one of the few who bothered hooking up the PS2's online features.
