To date Activision's first James Bond game has surrounded by plenty of rumour and gossip, so it seems right to dollop an extra bit of speculation on top: Will it be called Quantum of Solace?
Well, that's the just-confirmed name of the next Bond movie, which will find Daniel Craig reprising his role as the secret agent after his superb debut in Casino Royale.
A minute of footage from the new film has been shown at a press conference, the footage including a scene where 007 swings around on a rope following an explosion "at an art gallery in Siena, Italy," the BBC reports.
Activision's said very little to date about its first Bond outing since acquiring the license in 2006, however the publisher's previously confirmed that PC, console and handheld versions of the game are in development.
Last December, PGR developer Bizarre Creations was linked with the game. This followed word from Activision in October that one of two teams at Bizarre, and a team that is "very talented in the action genre", is working "on a property that Activision already owns".
Bizarre Creations was acquired by Activision last September.
