Amazon is flogging the PS5 Black Ops 6 bundle for a mere AU$699 - and yes, it's the disc edition
Save AU$130.95 on the console, and get the best COD campaign in years thrown in.

Until today I had thought the PS5 wouldn't receive any more substantial discounts until later in the year—at worst, I thought we'd have to wait until Black Friday. Then along comes this bargain: the PS5 Slim with disc drive and a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 thrown in is down to AU$699, which is a saving of AU$130.95 on the AU$829.95 RRP.
It's not quite as good as that now sold out Astro Bot bundle from earlier in the year, which dropped as low as AU$639. But considering Sony's Days of Play promotion is in the rearview mirror for 2025, AU$699 is a rare and, frankly, quite surprising deep discount on a sought after bundle, especially at a time when the PS5's RRP has risen by AU$80 since its 2020 launch.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is meant to be a pretty decent instalment in the long-running series. GamesRadar's review praises its "fun and varied campaign", and describes the whole package as a return to form for "new or lapsed" players. This particular bundle has never been so cheap. In fact, it's never dropped beneath its AU$829.95 RRP. Considering Black Ops 6 standalone is usually around the AU$89 mark, the bundle offers considerable value.
A steal on this brilliant bundle, which packs a disc edition of the PS5 Slim in with a digital code for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It's a great way to grab a console and a premier first-person shooter for far less than the standalone RRP on the console. This is the best PS5 deal we've seen since early June, though if you want a PS5 without Call of Duty (perhaps you're buying for a kid) the standalone is also down to AU$699.
The Black Ops 6 bundle discount coincides with a similar price drop on the standalone PS5 Slim with disc drive, which is also AU$699. Obviously, it's probably best to go with the bundle, unless you're buying for a kid (even then, you can just offload the download code to a friend).
The best reason not to buy the Black Ops 6 bundle is if, for some reason, you really want the digital edition PS5. This one lacks a disc drive, and is currently down to AU$573, which is a 24% discount on the usual AU$749.95 RRP. That's a brilliantly cheap way to get into the PlayStation eco-system, but do be aware of the lack of a disc drive.
If you do get a disc edition, these game discounts, also on Amazon, may pique your interest:
