New Red Faction Armageddon trailer profiles Kara, a 'hard-nosed smuggler'

Mars just got a little sexier... yeah, that's right, I'm a chauvinistic pig!

If you read my earlier story about InFamous 2, you know that no one here is reading anything I write at the moment, so I can say silly things. OK, I could still say silly things if they were reading it, but it's more fun to think I'm subverting something. Regardless of how it's done, someone has to post these trailers, even if we're running late to The Glowing Star's debut show.

This trailer's for Red Faction Armageddon, and it gives us a look at Kara, a "hard-nosed smuggler who knows both the streets and the world of science." She doesn't afraid of anything! The official description continues:

"Kara ran away from the regimented hierarchy of the Marauders at an early age. Smuggling goods around Mars and from Earth just seemed a natural course of action, both as an act of defiance and as an easy way to make cash. It was while operating in the underground of Mars that she met Darius. Aside from their place of birth, Kara and Darius couldn’t be more different. Darius was a hard worker who took people at face value; Kara was a sly, sarcastic rebel who trusted few. Darius wanted to live his life and avoid authority; Kara was always looking to pick a fight. They do have one thing in common: they wanted to stay hidden, and through that, a natural friendship was born."

Man, that filled up a lot of space! I barely have to write anything else about this. Except maybe the release date for the game. Here's a protip: when people read about a game, or watch a trailer, they often become curious as to when it will be available. Looking around for a release date can be a pain, as official sites often bury it, or don't even make it available. Wikipedia is usually reliable, but not always. Anyway, it's a good idea to clearly tell readers the release date of the game you're talking about (if it has one), and it can also be helpful to link to other relevant information, such as previews. What you don't want to do is tell them that Red Faction Armageddon is out May 31 at the very bottom of a big block of irrelevant text - just get the information across clearly!
