New Ratchet and Clank trailer
Insomniac gives a peek at the terrible twosome's PS3 adventure
We've got the first trailer for Insomniac games next PS3 blockbuster, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Insomniac's first game, Resistance: Fall of Man blew away the competition on the PS3 at launch, and if this trailer is any indication, Ratchet should follow in its more mature brother's footsteps. While Resistance was a dark and violent tale of aliens invading earth, Ratchetlooks to have the Insomniac guys returning to their bright and happy, kid friendly roots.
The trailer looks beautiful, with lush green environments and shiny high tech worlds colliding, and the coolest part has to bethe transforming droideka looking thing that tears through the trailer towards the end. Here's to hoping that the game looks this good when it launches. We'll keep you posted on all the Ratchet news as it comes in, but until then, enjoy the delicious trailer for yourself.

Stellar Blade director "grew up too poor to afford" a PS1, but when he finally got one in college, Ridge Racer and Final Fantasy inspired him to make games
Oh, that's why the Stellar Blade devs were terrified by demo players: one fan's spent "about 60 hours" maxing Eve's skill tree before the action RPG is even out
