Mirroring her off-screen unpredictability, there’s really no gauging which role sultry starlet Linsday Lohan will take next. The walking tabloid-headline went from Hollywood’s hottest young star after her turn in Disney’s The Parent Trap, to the actress you’d least like to enter into a drinking competition with.
Despite her party-girl lifestyle, the papped princess has remained a firm family favourite, but that looks set to change after her gritty turn in the upcoming movie I know Who Killed Me hits screens.
The script centres on Aubrey Fleming (Lohan), a woman who's rescued from the clutches of a dismembering serial killer. When she returns home and claims to be somebody she’s not, what doctors prescribe as post-traumatic stress could actually be something a lot more disturbing.
Lyndsay had this to say about her role in the movie:
"I don't think there has been a role for an actress like this movie was for me in so long. At first I was like, 'I can't do this, I'm getting my legs cut off. I don't want to look like that in scenes; I want to look decent.' But that was just me being young and stupid. I have my first sex scene in it, which I always said I wouldn't do. I wanted to do this movie so people can see that I'm an actress. I want to get a nomination. I want to win an Oscar. I want to be known for more than, like, going out."
At the moment there is no firm release date for the picture. We’re sure Lohan fans would give their right leg to see it though.
