I'm nearing the end of Resident Evil Requiem and with that comes the age-old question of, what PS5 game do I play next? While there's plenty in my backlog, I much prefer the feeling of grabbing cheap PS5 game deals and adding to my physical collection, and Best Buy has plenty of record-low savings for me to jump on.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, which I've had my eyes on since it launched just a couple of months ago, is down to $49.99 (Best Buy), and I can hear it calling my name. Its saving today is only $10 off, but that marks its lowest ever price since launch, which is only making me want it more. The record lows don't stop there, as despite the fact Tech Fest has come to a close, Alan Wake 2 is just $29.99 at Best Buy right now.
I'm still in a horror mood, so that record-low has grabbed me, especially as it includes the first game right in the box. Yet, no matter what I want to play, at least I know I can add to my PS5 collection without having to fork out a fortune. Sorry backlog, the savings are a-plenty and that little dopamine hit I feel when a new game comes in the post is too hard to ignore.
Dragon Age The Veilguard has been pretty cheap for a while now on PS5, but this is the first I've spotted it for as little as $7.99. I gifted someone at copy at launch for its full price, so you can bet I'll be treating myself to it now that that I can grab the RPG for as little as $8.

If you're also looking for your next game fix and have at least a spare 100 hours to invest in the second chapter of the FF7 Remake trilogy, it's now down to its lowest ever price of $24.99. The only time it's been close to this low was when it dropped to $30 during last year's holiday sales.

Talking of RPG sequels, Soul Hackers 2 Launch Edition is also down to its lowest ever price. Right now, you can grab the stylish Atlus game for just $19.99 at Best Buy, saving you $40 off its full price. Better yet, you don't have to have played the first game to pick up this massive bargain.

If you just finished Resident Evil Requiem and still have that spooky craving, Alan Wake 2 has dropped to its lowest ever price today. The horror sequel usually averages at $39.99, but it's now a further $10 off, taking its price down to $29.99. The best part is, this version includes a remaster of the first, so you're getting two games for the price of one.

If you like record lows, there's more where that came from. Wuchang Fallen Feathers is down to its lowest ever price of $34.99 on the PS5, and a great pick for Souls-like fans who fancy deviating from the usual Dark Souls titles.

If you still haven't checked out Spider-Man 2, it's now down to $36.80 at Best Buy. It's technically not a record low, but it's not far off it, as there's only a small $6.80 difference with today's discounted price. There's plenty of web-slinging action in here for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales fans, and enough to get you in the mood for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie.

If you still have yet to experience Sucker Punch's stunning Ghost of Tsushima, the Director's Cut version is down to its lowest ever price at Best Buy right now. If you'd prefer to experience some of the most classic RPGs out there, the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake collection of games is also down to a record low of just $44.99 at Best Buy today. Just be sure to play Dragon Quest 3 first if you want to experience the story in the right order.

If you want a Dragon Quest experience that's a bit more recent, the brand new Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is currently $10 off at Best Buy. That saving may be as small as a slime, but it's actually marks the lowest ever price for this RPG remake, which has only been out for a couple of months.

Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
