PS5 EE Game Day sales have returned, but you only have 24 hours to grab them
The clock is ticking to grab these UK PS5 discounts

EE Game Day is back again, but don't fret if you've never heard of it before.
Game Day doesn't have the promotional power of events like Prime Day, namely because it's a UK-exclusive event. However, it's still one watch if you're based in the UK like me and are after some PS5 bundle deals and savings on accessories for your Sony pixel-pushing beast.
These PS5 savings will only stick around for 24 hours, so you don't have long to take advantage of £65 off the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro, and 10% off controllers and other accessories.
Time might be against you, but you can feel reassured at least that these deals are available for both new and existing EE customers - so there's a little something for everyone.
EE Game Day PS5 Console deals
PlayStation 5 Slim (Digital Edition) | £429.99 £385 at EE
Save £45 - For the next 24 hours, EE has dropped £45 off the digital edition PS5 Slim model, which comes with 1TB worth of onboard storage and is ideal for digital game fans. Normally this version would set you back £429.99, but thanks to EE, it's less than that £400 sweet spot, which is worth grabbing while you can.
PlayStation 5 Slim (Disc Edition) | £479.99 £435 at EE
Save £45 - If you prefer your physical games, EE has also got you sorted. The disc edition PS5 Slim is down to £425 for Game Day, saving you £45 off its £479.99 MSRP. You'll also get the 1TB storage here, as well as a built-in disc drive for all your physical game needs.
PlayStation 5 Pro | £699.99 £630 at EE
Save £69.99 - EE has also dropped the price of the PS5 Pro, with its 2TB worth of onboard storage and lovely graphical upgrades to just £630 for Game Day. EE states you're saving just £65 here, but with the usual price of £699.99, you're actually looking at a discount of £69.99 - sign me up!
EE Game Day PS5 controller deals
PlayStation Access controller | £79.99 £74 at EE
Save £6 - Thanks to EE Game Day, there's also 10% off PS5 controllers over the next 24 hours, which includes the PlayStation Access. The highly customizable gamepad is typically £79.99, so the £6 saving isn't the biggest, but any pennies saved on this accessible accessory is worth making a fuss about.
PS5 DualSense Controller (White) | £64.99 £54 at EE
Save £10 - EE insists you're saving just £6 on the original white DualSense controller, but at full price you can expect to spend £64.99 on the gamepad at other UK retailers. Taking that into account, you're really looking at a discount of £10, which is more my speed.
PS5 DualSense Edge | £199.99 £178 at EE
Save £21.99 - The DualSense Edge is the premium official gamepad for the PS5, but with a £199.99 MSRP in the UK, it can be pretty pricey. Thanks to Game Day, it's down to £178, saving you £21.99 - but you'll only have 24 hours to grab it.
EE Game Day PS5 accessory deals
PlayStation VR2 | £399.99 £379.99 at EE
Save £20 - You'll already need a PS5 and some compatible games, or a gaming PC and an adapter to make proper use of this Sony VR kit, which is down to £379.99 thanks to EE Game Day. This sale price, which saves you £20 off its £399.99 MSRP, isn't a record low where PSVR 2 is concerned, but it's still one of the best UK deals I've spotted in a while.
PlayStation Portal (Midnight Black) | £199.99 £189 at EE
Save £10.99 - The PlayStation Portal is one of my favorite PS5 accessories, as it allows me to remote play my console from any room in the house, but its price point is a bit steep. Thanks to Game Day, EE has dropped £10.99 off the remote play handheld, and better yet, it's the stunning Midnight Black model too.
PS5 Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds | £199.99 £178 at EE
Save £21.99 - The Pulse Explore Wireless earbuds are ideal for anyone adverse to headsets but who still wants a great sound and the benefits of spatial audio when playing the PS5. These gaming buds typically have a £199.99 MSRP, but EE has dropped them to £178, saving you £21.99 for the next 24 hours.

Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
