Have you pre-loaded Halo 5? You might need to reinstall

All of us, at some point, have forgotten that new-gen games need a bit of time to get going. With mandatory installs, buying a game on launch day now feels like buying a ticket to a show in your own house that won't start for a few hours. Which is exactly why digital pre-loading is a great idea - until it doesn't work.

For those of you who've taken the option to download your copy of Halo 5: Guardians early, you might want to check that it's definitely going to work. In an announcement today, Microsoft revealed that a technical snafu means that those who pre-loaded before 21st September might have installed a placeholder file instead of the game itself. Luckily, there's an easy way to check, and a fix in place.
