No half measures for this retired gamer, as he squares up professionally to his virtual opponent, rocking on the balls of his feet before laying out some measured and cultured jabs.

Gaming face - 4/5
You can almost see the years roll back, Rocky-style, as Granddad floors his rival with a steely eyed glare. We imagine that if you stare closely enough into his eyes you can see the reflections of a youth spent knocking teeth around in pre-war boxing gyms.

Enthusiasm - 4/5
More than three minutes of high-impact exercise is enough to leave any of us a bit damp across the brow, but this veteran battles on strongly, even finding energy for a mid-bout victory dance.

Skill - 4/5
A solid, dedicated bout sees Granddad's concerted efforts pay off with a deserved win.
