Grasshopper Manufacturer said today that its Grasstream 2 Ustream event, which was originally announced in February, will serve as a charity drive for earthquake relief.
The event, fully titled Grasstream 2: Travis vs Garcia, will feature live music, a talk from No More Heroes 2 character designer Yusuke Kozaki and mechanical designer Shigeto Koyama, a speech by Suda 51 on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, new trailer and info on Shadows of the Damned, and the announcement of Grasshopper's newest game. Localization firm 8-4 will be hosting the English language version of the live stream and will release the event as a podcast.
Fans in Tokyo can attend the event themselves. Tickets are 2,000 yen (about $25) at the door, and 1,500 if bought in advance at convenience store Lawson. The event will take place at Loft Plus One in Shinjuku on March 30. Doors open at 6:30 and the event starts an hour later.
For fans hoping to watch and donate from abroad, the event wills start at 12:30 a.m. PST in the United States, and 8:30a.m. in the UK.
