One of the very first quests you can claim from the Flashpoint update of Arc Raiders is Dust on the Wires. Within just one round on Spaceport, you must transmit a scout group’s log from a Field Depot, resend that log from an old tower, then find remains left by the scouts. Although it sounds complicated at first, we promise you won’t be running around too much on this map. We’ll outline each step of the way through the Dust on the Wires quest in Arc Raiders so you can move on to other missions.
How to complete Dust on the Wires in Arc Raiders
To complete Dust on the Wires in Arc Raiders, you must finish each of these tasks in this order, all in one round:
- Visit any Field Depot on the eastern side of the Spaceport
- Use the Field Radio to transmit the scout group’s last log to Shani
- Interact with the terminal in the old Raider Tower north of the Maintenance Hangar
- Find traces of the scout patrol near the Maintenance Hangar
- Search the remains left by the scouts
- Deliver the Scout Patrol Note to Shani
Spaceport Eastern Field Depot location
There are two Field Depots on the eastern side of Spaceport, either of which should work for this quest. We spawned closest to the southeastern Field Depot, so we picked that one. Field Depots look like abandoned trailers with tall satellites on top, you can’t miss them.

Once inside, walk up to the computer on the desk and interact with it. You will resend the log, and your quest will update to give you the next task.
Old Raider Tower location
Next up is the old Raider Tower, which is just northwest of the Maintenance Hangar. Once you make it to the spot on the map above, you should see a makeshift tower with spiral stairs.
Climb the stairs and interact with the computer to resend the log. You can now head back down and move on to the following task.
Where to find traces and remains of the scout patrol
The last few tasks have you search around the Maintenance Hangar. Specifically, go outside of the Maintenance Hangar around its southwestern corner, and you should quickly spot an interaction.

Look for where the scout patrol has abandoned a few carts. Walk up to the interaction and transmit the location. Once that’s done, the quest will ask you to search the remains left by the scouts.
Simply head a bit south, following the trail left by the scouts. You will soon see a fallen-over cart with an interaction available to search for clues. Do so, and a Scout Patrol Note will pop out of it.
Make sure to pick up the Scout Patrol Note and place it in your safe pocket to ensure that you can complete this quest even if you don’t make it out of Spaceport alive.
With that, you can head back to Speranza and claim your reward from Shani, which is a bag cosmetic.
