Co-op puzzle game We Were Here Tomorrow locks a release month for futuristic multiplayer mayhem
The latest in the We Were Here series is going sci-fi
We Were Here Tomorrow, the latest entry in the co-op We Were Here series, just got a release window at the Future Games Show at Gamescom. And it's coming this October.
So while it might not have an exact release date, we at least know it's still coming this year and we'll be getting some chilly weather co-op gaming time.
I love an asymmetrical co-op game where you've got to continually describe what you can see and interact with to your fellow player in order to solve puzzles, and the We Were Here series are some of the best out there.
We Were Here Tomorrow takes the series to a futuristic setting of sorts, where you and your pal find yourselves at a mysterious facility guided by a strangely calm voice.
You'll have to communicate via walkie-talkie and work together to solve a series of assignments and their associated puzzles, in order to find out why you're here in the first place.
Each player also has unique abilities at their disposal, which you'll need to work out how best to use in every situation.
Having played every game in the series to date, I'm excited to see what Tomorrow brings, and if the Future Games Show trailer is anything to go by, we're going to be seeing some pretty weird and wonderful stuff in this bizarre place.
We Were Here Tomorrow drops this October on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam where you can wishlist it right now.
