Anomaly President campaigns for an August release date in this new FGS Live From GDC trailer
Take on a corrupt president trying to destroy the world (not that one) in this rogue-like beat em up
FGS Live From GDC got a fresh look at Anomaly President's campaigning rogue-like combat action, along with an all new release date reveal: August 3, 2026. That will see the game enter Early Access and let you get to grips with combat, base building, and exploration as you level up your crime fighting warrior, who also happens to be a presidential candidate...

This is politics with punch. Literally, as you control a presidential candidate on the campaign trail by day and warpath by night, fighting to take down a corrupt evil president. That sees you battling various gangs, criminals and politicians, harvesting the Anomaly Powers of the bosses you defeat to help you fight on.
How you craft your character is up to you, as this has a roguelike structure that lets you experiment, trying things out to find what works for you. Options include things like a parry focused sword master or Anomaly powered cyber mage, to give you some idea of what's possible. Although that's only a couple of potential styles.
You won't be fighting alone as you'll be able to recruit Fluffies to join your team and then assign them to various departments. That could be campaigning, creating equipment upgrades, combat assistance and more. This is a two way street though, as you'll have to take good care of your new friends or they might leave you or even die.
Finally, you'll obviously need some sort of base to work from and house your growing freedom team. And, because you're on the voter trail, what better option than a campaign bus. You can build this improbably stacked vehicle out however you want, to create a completely personalised solution for all your would be world leader needs as you travel the country.
Anomaly President will be out August 3 this year and you can follow the developer Phew Phew Games for more Updates
