All Docks collectibles in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
There are 5 collectible Surfboards in the New Beginnings mission in Lego Batman's Docks area, and a Red Brick
The New Beginnings mission and the Docks area in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight has all manner of Surfboard collectibles to find, as well as a Red Brick with a Nautical Modifier on it. Some of these are easier to find than others, spread around the Dock and Harbor area rather haphazardly, but I'll show you where to find all the hidden items throughout, even as you chase Flass. Here's where to find all five locations of Surfboards in Lego Batman, as well as the hidden Red Brick.
Where to find all Docks collectibles in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
The New Beginnings mission in Lego Batman has 5 Surfboards spread around the docks area, all laid out below.
- Surfboard 1: After using Gordon's Foam Gun to goo up the mechanism for the first time, it's next to the container you need to push forward.
- Surfboard 2: After Flass shoots the crane and sends the container spinning rapidly, look to the right of the crane to find the next board.
- Surfboard 3: After the tutorial on dodging enemy fire, the surfboard is right under the shooter, leaning against the ledge he's standing on.
- Surfboard 4: After entering a space with an Ice Cream Truck, look behind the truck and to the left to see the Surfboard lying near the water's edge, close to a vent you can crawl through.
- Surfboard 5: In the space where you build the giant battering ram to get through the door, the surfboard is leaning on the right hand wall, near a stockpile of explosives.
- Red Brick: To the left of the door is a small cabin. Break in through the roof to get the Red Brick inside.
Surfboard 1
This first board is hard to miss. After you're introduced to Gordon's Foam Gun and use it to gum up some machinery, you'll walk through the container and have to push another one out of the way to continue. The board is just to the left of it.
Surfboard 2
Later on, Flass shoots a crane, causing the machinery within to be exposed and causing the container it's holding to start rapidly spinning. If you look at the base of the crane he shot, the surfboard is just to the right of it.
Surfboard 3
Another easy one: Batman and Gordon get ambushed by goons with guns, and you'll get a tutorial about dodging enemy fire. Right beneath the attacker, in full view, is the third Surfboard.
Surfboard 4
This one's a little harder. After the gunfire tutorial, you'll go through a warehouse, and when you come out the other side, you'll be in a space with lots of enemies and an Ice Cream Truck. If you go around behind the truck, you'll be able to see the ocean ahead of you. The Surfboard is leaning against the wall on the right.
Surfboard 5
You'll reach a door not long afterwards you need to break down, requiring you to build something to smash it - a battering ram. Before you do so, check the wall on the right to see the Surfboard propped up near a bed of explosives.

Red Brick
To the left of the door you need to batter down is a small cabin or workshed, with the door blocked off. Grapple up to the roof, and you should see an open skylight into which you can drop down. You'll find one of the Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight Red Bricks inside, and it gives you a Nautical modifier.
