The first trailer has arrived online for Kung Fu Panda 3, in which Jack Black's cuddly badass Po encounters a community of living in secret, as revealed to him by his long lost father (voiced by Bryan Cranston).
The new trailer doesn't delve into the plot too deeply, but it does give us a glimpse of the opening encounter between Po and his old man, and it's a winner. Inter-generational animal reunions for the win!

The animated threequel has been on Dreamworks' slate for a while now, having been penciled in for a Christmas 2015 release before The Force Awakens made that plan untenable. The film will now land in the US on 29 January 2016 and the UK on 18 March 2016.
