What exactly is Final Fantasy Type-0, aside from that thing you have to buy if you want to get the Final Fantasy 15 demo? I'm so glad you asked, because I happen to have this new seven-minute gameplay overview from Square Enix right here.
The video spans all elements of the game, introducing you to its action combat system, exploration, and strategic overworld elements elements. You'll also meet the 14 cadets who you will inevitably lead to doom, time and time again. Don't worry, though - they'll come back to life if you hit a save crystal.
Final Fantasy Type-0 first released as a Japan-exclusive PSP game in 2011, though its action combat and surprisingly grim storyline still set it apart from the rest of the role-playing series. The HD upgrade will hit PS4 on March 17 in North America and March 20 in Europe.
And yeah, it's still the only way to get Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar.
