Executives are supposed to dress professionally. They have the best parking spaces and discuss financial reports with investors. They wear business suits (because they are very important and go to lots of very important meetings). They aren’t generally known for appearing half naked… to promote a videogame… in the shower. So we were quite surprised to see the latest developer diary for Bulletstorm, which features Epic Games president Mike Capps in the shower having a “Deep Thoughts” moment as he contemplates his company’s upcoming shooter…

Lots of good ideas begin in the bathroom. Doc Brown from Back to the Future first conceived of the flux capacitor after slipping and hitting his head on his bathroom sink, for example. And even though we can’t prove it, we’re pretty sure that Steve Jobs came up with the idea for the iPad while he was pooping. So, it’s nice to see Mike Capps continuing the most honorable tradition of bathroom brainstorming.
Bulletstorm is scheduled to release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on February 22, 2011.
