How to watch USA vs Australia for free

Watch anywhere: Norton VPN (60 day money back guarantee)

If you're looking for how to watch USA vs Australia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, all the details are here – and we've also put together a guide on how to watch all the World Cup matches for free.

The USA vs Australia match will kick off at 3PM ET on Friday 19 June.

The USA team is coming to this game fresh from their World Cup opener against Paraguay, and they previously faced off against the Australian team in a friendly back in October 2025.

The US emerged victorious from that one with a 2-1 win, and Australia will of course be keen to return the favor this time with a decisive win against the World Cup co-host.

From what I can see so far a week before the game the bookies' favorite to win is currently the US – not just for this game, but for the whole Group D. At the time of writing a meta-analysis of two dozen bookmakers is giving odds of 3/4 for a USA win, 3/1 for a draw and 19/5 for an Australian win in this match.

The USA vs Australia match is taking place in the uniquely shaped Seattle Stadium in the city of the same name. It holds an unusual record: the Guinness World Record for the loudest outdoor stadium, a record it achieved in 2013. So you might want to stream this one in surround sound if you can.

Here are all the details you need about how to watch USA vs Australia in the World Cup 2026.

How to watch Canada vs Qatar free around the world

Several broadcasters are streaming the USA vs Australia clash for free, or have free trials that you can use to catch a few matches provided you're a new customer.

In the US, YouTube TV would be our choice. YouTube currently offers an impressive 21 days free, so you can catch not just USA vs Australia but also all of June's other matches.

In Australia, you can stream the USA vs Australia game for free via SBS On Demand.

In the UK it's the BBC's turn to stream the match while ITV takes a time out, so USA vs Australia will be streaming for free on the BBC iPlayer.

Streaming services typically use geographic blocking to lock out viewers from other countries, so if you're going to be traveling away from home you'll need a VPN such as Norton VPN. That enables you to log in to your usual apps and stream from anywhere.

Norton VPN is the our favorite to access World Cup matches when we're traveling: it enables you to tune in to your chosen streamer no matter where you are in the world. It's reasonably priced, rock solid and delivers silky-smooth streaming.

How to watch USA vs Australia in the US

The USA vs Australia match will kick off at 3PM Eastern Time on Friday the 19th of June.

US broadcasters prefer to offer free trials rather than free streaming, and the longest free trial currently belongs to YouTube TV with a generous 21 days for free. After the free period ends you can cancel or get a discounted rate of $54.99 per month for three months. That gives you the rest of the World Cup as part of the Sports Plan with ESPN, TNT and NFL.

Peacock will be streaming the Spanish-language broadcasts from Telemundo in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for every game. That's exclusive to Peacock Premium, which costs $10.99 a month or comes free with a Walmart Plus subscription. If you're not subscribed to either, you can get Walmart Plus for close to zero with Peacock Premium included: Walmart Plus is currently offering 30 days for just $1.

Fubo is currently offering a five-day free trial of the Sports + News package. That delivers streaming matches via both Fox and FS1. Fubo's monthly subscription after the free trial ends is $55.99 per month.

Fox's streaming service, Fox One, currently offers three days free to new customers. It'll be streaming all matches in 4K and costs $11.99 per month.

If you'll be traveling while this match is streaming we'd recommend investing in a VPN such as Norton VPN so that you can access your usual streamer from wherever you happen to be. Many streamers limit streaming based on your device location, which can be a pain if you're away from home. A VPN solves that.

How to watch USA vs Australia in the UK

As you may already know, UK streaming is being split between the BBC and ITV for this World Cup. It's the BBC's turn for this match, so the USA vs Australia game will be shown on BBC iPlayer with an 8pm kick-off and the usual commentary beforehand.

UK-based streamers tend to use geoblocking, so if you're going to be in a remote airport or a faraway hotel for this one you can solve the problem by using Norton VPN. That enables you to change the location that websites and services see, so you can access them normally.

How to watch USA vs Australia in Canada

In Canada TSN is streaming all of the World Cup matches on TSN+, and the USA vs Australia match will begin at 3PM Eastern Time.

If you won't be located in Canada and still want to catch this match you can use Norton VPN to stream as if you were still at home. VPNs enable you to connect to services, sites and apps no matter where you are in the world.

How to watch USA vs Australia in Australia

The USA vs Australia match will be streaming on SBS On Demand in Australia. While the rest of the world will be watching the match on the Friday, time differences mean that Australian sports fans will be streaming the match live on the Saturday morning. Kick-off is at 5AM AEST on Saturday the 20th of June.

If you'll be traveling beyond Australia and still want to stream the match, we'd recommend using Norton VPN to stream as usual without having to worry about any geoblocking.

What time is USA vs Australia?

The USA vs Australia match will kick off at 3PM ET / 8PM BST / 5AM AEST on the 19th of June (20th June in Australia).

Timings are the same as for all other World Cup matches: two 45-minute halves with a 15-minute interval.

Where is USA vs Australia being played?

The USA vs Australia match will take place at Seattle Stadium in Seattle, USA.
