Watch anywhere: Norton VPN (60 day money back guarantee)

If you'd like to know how to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina, the first match of the Group B in the 2026 World Cup, all the details you need are here. And we've also put together a guide to how to watch all the World Cup matches.

This will be the first time the two countries have competed against one another, and it's the third World Cup competition for Canada. The Canadian team, coached by John Herdman, will be hoping to clinch their first World Cup victory with the help of key players including Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich and Jonathan David from Juventus. Bosnia-Herzegovina will be no pushovers, however: they beat both Wales and Italy to secure their place, and captain Edin Dzeko, formerly of Manchester City, will be keen to win.

Canada is one of the 2026 World Cup hosts and this game will start after the Canadian opening ceremony, which will feature Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé and many other stars; the ceremony starts 90 minutes before the kick-off.

The choice of where to stream Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina depends on where in the world you are: in the US, YouTube TV is offering a hefty free trial, while in the UK the match is being streamed by the BBC live and on iPlayer. In Australia the match will stream on SBS On Demand, while Canadian fans have a choice of TSN+ or Crave.

As with other World Cup games all official timings are in Eastern Time. So the kick-off for Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina will be at 3pm ET / 8pm BST / 5am AEST on the 12th of June.

Here's how to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina in the World Cup.

How to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina free around the world

There are several broadcasters streaming the Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina match for free, although you'll generally find your home stream is geoblocked if you're abroad. Those travelling during the World Cup may need to use a VPN service to see the game. There are lots of VPN apps out there but our favorite is Norton VPN, which is reliable and good value for money.

Free streams available in:

  • UK: BBC iPlayer
  • Australia: SBS On Demand
  • Ireland: RTE Player
  • Canada: Crave.ca
Norton VPN | Up to 70% off + 60 day money back guarantee

Norton VPN | Up to 70% off + 60 day money back guarantee

Norton VPN is the best option if you want to use your usual streaming provider when you're out of the country: it enables you to bypass geoblocks with zero effort. Right now there are some great discounts on Norton VPN plans, and there's a generous 60-day money-back guarantee for extra peace of mind.

How to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina in the US

US flag

YouTube TV is our favorite option here thanks to its 21-day free trial, which will take you far into the World Cup before requiring a subscription – and that subscription is discounted for a little while as well - $54.99 per month for the first three months. That's for the Sports Plan, which means you'll get all the Fox World Cup streams as well as the NFL Network, TNT and ESPN.

Peacock is doing something unique this year: it's taking the Spanish-language broadcasts of every World Cup match from Telemundo and streaming them using both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, so you'll be able to feel like you're right there in Toronto Stadium. You'll need Peacock Premium for that experience, and it costs $10.99 per month – or zero per month if you're a Walmart Plus subscriber. If you aren't, there's a deal right now that gives you 30 days of Walmart Plus with Peacock Premium for just one dollar.

There are two more options for US soccer fans. Fox One gives you access to all the games in 4K for $19.99 per month, although the free trial is only three days. Fubo offers two more free days, carries both Fox and FS1 streams and costs $55.99/mo for the Sports + News package once your free trial is up.

As with other World Cup matches FIFA and broadcasters are using Eastern Time for scheduling, and the match kick-off will be at 3pm ET.

As ever with streaming, providers use geoblocking so if you're going to be outside the US for the match you're going to need a VPN in order to stream the game from US streamers. Our favorite VPN is Norton VPN thanks to its low price, great performance and rock-solid stability.

How to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina in the UK

uk flag

In the UK the World Cup is being split between ITV and the BBC, and the Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina game is one of the BBC ones. That means it'll be available on BBC One and on iPlayer too. The kick-off is at 8pm UK time and Gaby Logan will be introducing live coverage from 7pm.

If you're going to be outside the UK for this match iPlayer won't be available to you unless you use a VPN. We'd recommend Norton VPN for its speed, security and reliability.

How to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina in Canada

canada vpn streaming

TSN is showing every game in the 2026 World Cup, and online that's via the TSN+ platform. CTV is also broadcasting every Canada match (and many others) and streaming via Crave, and French-speaking viewers will be able to tune in to RDS.

FIFA is using Eastern Time for all matches. Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina will begin at 3pm ET.

If you'll be outside Canada during the match and want to tune in, Norton VPN will enable you to stream without encountering geoblocking.

How to watch Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina in Australia

Australian flag

No surprises here: SBS On Demand has the Australian rights to all 104 World Cup matches and will be streaming each one in HD with full replays available for anyone who didn't catch the kick-off.

There's a big time difference because of time zones so you'll need to be a night owl or very early bird for this one: kick-off is at 5am AEST.

If you'd normally be tuning in but you'll be travelling outside Australia, you'll need to use a VPN in order to stream the match without geoblocking. Our recommendation is Norton VPN, which is smooth, speedy and reliable.

What time is Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina?

The Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina match will kick off at 3pm Eastern Time (8pm BST / 5am AEST). The first half will be 45 minutes with a 15-minute break, and the second half should be over at 4.45pm Eastern Time.

Where is Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina being played?

The Canada vs Bosnia-Herzegovina match will take place in Toronto Stadium in the city of the same name.
