If you've ever wondered what happens after an apocalypse, then Endzone - A World Apart is exactly the game you need to play, and now it's coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X for the first time. It turns out it's not all zombies and catastrophic weather events, it's also about rebuilding, so it's down to you to kickstart this new world.

In a world ravaged by a global nuclear disaster, it's up to you to gather together the few that remain and start building them a new life. This post-apocalyptic city builder combines the need to provide your civilization with homes and infrastructure with the things they'll also need to survive in this nightmarish and unforgiving world. Think Frostpunk but with toxic rain, sandstorms, droughts, and constant radiation rather than the crippling cold, and you'll get the vibe for Endzone's unique take on the survival city-builder.

Originally released on PC in 2020, Endzone - A World Apart is out PS5 and Xbox Series X, and arrives with a special new edition called the Survivor Edition. This not only includes the first expansion - Prosperity - but also a wealth of console exclusive content. This is headlined by a complete UI overhaul and new control scheme to make Endzone work seamlessly with a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S controller, rather than mouse and keyboard.

Plus, there are some brand new missions that are exclusive to the console edition, meaning even those who have already battled surviving in a nuclear wasteland can find something new to discover.

You can either opt to play through the game's set scenarios that guide you through different story-driven missions and objectives or dive into the huge sandbox mode. Building out a new future has never been more exciting - and challenging, of course.

Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition is out now on the PSN Store and Xbox Store, and there's also a physical PlayStation edition available in the UK.
