The Destiny 2 open beta starts this month. Are you ready? Well if not, watch this new trailer and get a taste of what's coming:
It looks like the Destiny 2 beta will be quite similar to the first game's beta, allowing participants to check out the first story mission, PvP, and even a Strike. While the trailer advertises a July 18 start date, the truth is a little more complex.
If you pre-order the game for PS4, you can jump in on July 18. If you pre-order for Xbox One, you can start on July 19. Everyone, regardless of console or pre-order status, can play from July 21 to July 23. A PC beta is scheduled for sometime in August.
It might not look it, but Destiny 2 is shaping up to be a big change for the series. There's a new social hub called The Farm, and Bungie remembered to put in a story this time!
