The Splatoon 2 Global Testfire starts today! Your chance to preview Nintendo's second take on the ink-flinging shooter will arrive in six separate hour-long sessions rather than an entire uninterrupted weekend because a) Nintendo and b) that way you get a critical mass of players for each event (and presumably more useful testing data). The Global Testfire for the original Splatoon was the same way, if that helps.
Make sure you download the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire from the Switch eShop so you can start playing as soon as the event goes live. These are the US and UK times for all six sessions.

Whether you missed out on the ink-flinging, multiplayer exploits of the first game or you're a veteran squid kid, you'll want to get in on at least one of the hour-long play sessions. I'm definitely going to participate in at least a few of them; I have a deep, abiding love for the Splattershot Jr., so I want to see how the Splat Dualies compare in terms of close-up mayhem and inking potential.
