PS4 update 3.0 gives you 10GB of cloud storage and more sharing options

PlayStation 4's 3.0 update was already looking like a significant step forward and now it's getting even better. Sony has confirmed that PS Plus subscriber's online cloud storage is going to increase from 1GB to 10GB so no more running out of space in that place you always forget exists. Codenamed Kenshin, update 3.0 is now out in Beta phase to a select few and has a slew of feature updates.

As previously reported, we'll soon have the ability to upload short videos to Twitter. Yes, your timeline is going to be interesting for a few weeks. Share wise, we'll also be able to stream gameplay straight to YouTube. Streams can be watched online as well as through the YouTube Gaming mobile app.

It's all about friends and sharing for this update so there'll be more information on seeing what your friends are playing, the option to create communities and even the ability to request to watch what a friend is getting ridiculously stuck on. Plus, if you're sick of typing out long messages (and can't find your phone as a second screen) then there's the option to send stickers instead of those pesky words. To find out more, you can see the announcement post on the PlayStation Blog. There's no official release date just yet but expect it to be sooner rather than later.
