Minecraft multiplayer

The game supports up to eight players total over Xbox Live and has four player split-screen multiplayer for those who have a big enough TV and would want to share a screen. You can combine split-screen and Xbox Live play as long as people are on your friends list so you'll know who to blame if your things go missing.

What is it?

Minecraft is an open-world game where you have the freedom to dig, build, create and shoot zombies if they get too close to your house.

Who is the developer?

Mojang is the original developer of Minecraft but theyre collaborating with 4J Studios for the console version.

How does it look?

The classic cubed 3D world of Minecraft looks the same on Xbox 360. If you dont like sharing a monitor, we suggest playing online with friends instead.

How does it play?

Similar to the PC game, the control work like any first-person and you use the right trigger to punch/dig/swing. The appeal of Minecraft is that you can do whatever you want. Build houses, dig for diamonds, shave sheep, grief your friends...the possibilities are endless!

When is it out?

The release date for Minecraft on the 360 has not confirmed yet but it is due out this spring.
