We're one episode into Game of Thrones season 7 and we're already chomping at the bit for scraps of info on what's to come for the remainder of the season. Thankfully, the Game of Thrones SDCC panel in Hall H today has come to our aid! In addition to some absolutely marvellous banter from Brienne and Ser Davos, HBO dropped a minute-long teaser.
In the short preview we see shots from all across the Seven Kingdoms. Stand out moments include: Jon and his allies discuss the best way forward with references to Daenerys' dragons as a way to combat the White Walkers; The Mother of Dragons herself takes a seat in the Targaryen throne; Cersei makes snippy, sarcastic comments (no surprise there, really); the Lannister army marches forth; and Littlefinger delivers a lengthy whisper into Sansa's ear.
The best reveal is saved until last when we see none other than Melisandre at her old hangout, Dragonstone! Ostracised by The Onion Knight and told to head south, she's now appealing to Dany: "I believe you have a bigger role to play," she tells her, "... as does another."
What does that mean? I'm taking a wild(ling) stab in the dark and thinking she's referring to none other than Jon Snow.
