Want to be powerful? Play cards. Go to Gf screen and prioritize learning the magic refines(eg.Ice/water magic) and Card mod from Quazecotyl. Since you'll be in Balamb go to the beach and fight the fishes with your GFs. You earn 6Ap per fight. If you get the card capability from Quazecotyl heres what you can do. Win lots of Abyssmal worms. Convert to Windmills and windmills convert by Thunder/wind magic. You have tornado. This tornado is like a mini-Ultima junction it anywhere from HP-J to Spr-J and you'd be stronger. In HP in can give you a life as high as 3000+ while being a level 10 character. Remember all those fishfins you won. Convert those too to Waters.Its an easy spell to gain and can help you tremendously anywhere you junction it.Depends on the character you want. Prioritize those Magic refines and see the results. No more fuss about drawing spells , that was boring , you get stronger by playing cards and have fun too.Experiment with all the cars you can convert with the refines you'll never know until you try.

After talking to the elder and getting the phoenix pinion you will see that scene where the attendant is ordered to work on Laguna's statue.

Go to the shop and go to the statue if you see the attendant sulking in the corner your next sidequest has begun. Talk to him , then the elder who will instruct you to take the moomba guarding his house to talk to attendant. Follow the moomba and watch it talk to attendant. Attendant will help now. Talk to him and he will say that the work will be faster if they had artisan helping them. Go to artisan and talk to him(The house nearest to the shop). He will refuse so go to Fishermans horizon to meet the Artisans friend , the grease monkey found near where you fought the Galbadian soldiers. He will give you his moomba toy.Go back to Shumi village and see artisan again. This time he will agree after much convincing from the toy. Follow him to the shop and watch them work. Go see the elder and he will give you a Status Guard X 4. Its very important since Grashaboras card is so hard to obtain.Believe me it will help you later on.

Issue#1-In library shelf to the left. Don't change scenes where you see draw point for Esuna. Just go there and press on the shelf you can't miss it.

For me Diablos was a very hard Boss.It took me at least 20 tries to beat him because my levels were so high and so were his.But you can beat him very easily.All you have to do is blind him(because he has a physical attack that will kill you instantly).If you cant find any blind magic than youll have to wait to fight him until you do get blind.It is hard to blind him so my suggestion is to junction blind to your (hit) slot because it is easier to blind him that way.

There is a way to not fight any monsters on the world map besides using Diablos' encounter-none ability. If you walk on a road or train tracks, you won't have to fight any enemies. This is handy early on in the game when your HP is low and need to get to Balamb Garden or Balamb.

(Note: This works in the American version. It might work in the Japanese version, but I don't know because I only have the American version.)

Quistis' Character Card, Angelo GF Card

You can find Quistis' character card in the Balamb cafeteria. Walk to the table at the right and challenge the guy in the back to a game of cards. He has quistis' character card and you can obtain it if you beat him. angelo's GF card is on the train where squall meets rinoa for the second time. challenge the guy in the yellow jackets that calls you "sir" and you can steal his Angelo GF card.

All Vase Pieces In Laguna's Town

To find al the blue vase pieces in Laguna's town, go thru the chocobo crossing and press the button against the chocobo to kick him in the air...he'll drop items.......pick em up then go to the flower shop in the middle of town next to the nearest flower stand....then go back to the pub by the mansion and talk to the cat on the bar....take all pieces back to the man in the mansion and you'll receive a Holy Stone.

Get a few doubles(draw at least 3 from elvoret) and cures. The best time to defeat him is as soon as you get the lamp he's in. At the battle, instantly cast double on yourselves and cure yourselves constantly. Draw demi from him until he's low on HP and use all your Gf's.

Make sure that you get laguna card and then modify into 100 hero's and try to have lionheart for squall, and have your characters at full health.

Keep healing your characters with curaga to make sure that they stay at 9999 hit points. When omega uses his burning move it will take off 9998 damage. Now have each character use one hero on themselves and omega will not be able to hurt you leaving you to keep pounding him with your limits as you are only on 1 point. After about 3-4 limits with each character have them use another hero and no-one will even die once.

Rinoa card: Lose Ifrit card to Gen. Caraway in tentionally. He will play Rinoa's card on his deck often now and you have the chance of getting it. Win back your lost Ifrit card from Headmaster Martine who is in FH.

You need the Gilgamesh card. Card Mod it for 10 Holy Wars. I prefer to have Squall LV 100 Zell LV100 and Selphia LV 100 on my team. Make sure ech member has 100 Auras and 10 Triples. Have all the limits and Ultimate Weapons. Now fight her and use the basic strategy for her first form. For Griver and her other forms, use this strategy. 1. Use Squall and cast Triple on Selphia. 2. With Selphia cast Aura on all your of gays. 3. With Zell use a Holy War. Do it in the order I told you or it won't work. Every time your Aura and Holy War fade away, do steps 2 and 3

Even though you have the card ability, and you change everything on earth into cards, you still cant win cuz the cards around balamb suck? Dont start playing cards until you have Ifrit, Sacred, and Minotar. You should have those cards cause with only ifrit you are gonna lose him and whine to your mommy. Then proceed with your mad card skills and play and play and play and play and play and play and play until you have alot of cards. then use CARD MOD and change evrything into items. (espially the gespers cuz they are bad cards but refine into a black hole.)

2.When you want to level up quick just go to the island closest to heaven/hell and keep quistis in your party. Make sure Quistis' HP is low so she can use Blue Magic then when you get into a fight use DeGenerator and your opponent is dead in one shot.

5.Go to the Cactus Island and attack those little cactus. They don't have much Experience to offer but the AP is great. 20AP per one cactus. The only catch is that they tend to run away, so junction yourself some speedy stuff.

19.Always double-check the game's decision when using the Auto Junction command. The game doesnt make any decision based on your surroundings.

Defeat

First make sure Squall's Strength is high so you can kill the Malboro alot faster.

Junction 100 x Berserk, 100 x Sleep and 100 x Confuse spells to Quistis' status defense. Before this, have Quistis on her Limit Break. When he casts Bad Breath on y'all, Quistis will be silenced and poisoned (and God knows else what!) but will still be eligble for attacking. You should now have the opportunity to cast Degenerator on Malboro and claim your Tentacles or crappy HypnoCrowns. Having Iniative and Alert also help.

I have thought up a lot easier way to get marlboro tenticels, all you need to do is have which ever character of yours usually strikes first have the mug ability, and theres a good chance that you will steal from it before the breath attack, then as soon as you steal, run.....and even if you cant run, but you manage to steal tenticles, wait for him to attack you once after the breath attack, then run and use remedy to heal yourself....i only had to fight 2 marlboros to get doomtrain

Just junction initiative to the character that has Card Mod and use it with him. If it works youÃ½ll win the tentacles plus the card, (and when you have enough you change them into another tentacle) but if it doesnÃ½t use any other strategy, try again or pray and die.

When you go into battle the first thing you need to do is cast Cerberus to get the triple status on your party. Make sure your compatibility to Cerberus is high so he will come out right away. Next have one of you characters cast Meltdown on Ultima Weapon to lower its vitality so that your hits will take out more. Once Cerberus has been summoned, have one of your characters cast Aura on everyone and another character should cast Haste on everyone and another character should cast Shell on everyone. When you have the Aura status start using your limit breaks. Use Irvines Armor Shot and use Quistis Mighty Barrier to give you a great advantage. When you are low on HP, triple cast Curuga. When a character dies use Full-Life then use Cerberus or Triple to gain back the triple status. If you think you are about to loose and Ultima Weapon only has a few thousand HP use the Kamakazi for a last "desperation attack", it will take out about 30,000 to 60,000 HP. Also you might have at least one Hero item in your item inventory, if you do then use it. Hero makes a character invincible for a short period of time, but make sure you cast Aura first before you do the Hero item cause no magic will have effect on a Hero status. Good luck.

When you go into battle the first thing Omega Weapon will do is cast LV?Death on you so you better have juntioned those Death spells or youre dead the first second of the battle. First cast Cerberus to gain the triple status, the character who has Initiative should do this, and another character cast Meltdown or Doomtrain to lower Omega Weapons vitality so that your hits take out more. Then have one of you characters cast Aura on everyone and another character cast Haste on everyone, and the last character should cast the Holy War. Make sure you dont cast Holy War first or the Aura and Haste wont work on your party. Then start using your Limit Breaks. For Irvine use his Armor Shot Limit Break. Keep using your limit break until the Aura status wears off then start using your GF, Cactuar, Eden, and Bahamut, these 3 are the only effective GF against Omega Weapon. When the Holr War wears off have one of your characters cast Aura on everyone then use the Holy War again. If you are in need of some healing, triple cast Curuga. If one of your party dies use Full-Life to revive that character to full health then use Cerberus again or Triple to gain the triple status then cast Haste. Good Luck !!!

First make sure you have at least 10 auras. Next make sure you have Full-lifes atleast 8.Also make sure you have Sqall's ultimate weapon Lionheart.Start this battle off by casting aura on Squall.Next have someone cast meltdown on Ultima Weapon.Have Squall Pound away with Renzuken with any luck Squall will use his Lionheart limitbreak.If Squall doesn't use Lionheart than when aura runs out just keep casting it and when meltdown runs out just keep casting it over and over until

he DIES!Also keep in mind that Ultima has a nasty spell that K.O'S one party member.So have someone as a Medic with Full-life on them.Follow my instructions and this battle will be a brease.Oh and don't foget to draw Eden from Ultima. `

This is easy you just need a few stuff, first is Quezecotyl's card mod and Ammo refine from Ifrit. Since most of the stuff you need to be powerful is in the cards I suggest that you play it in Balamb like there's no tomorrow.

You need 20 elnoyle cards for the 2 energy crystals.Convert with Card mod to crytals and then Ammo refine to Pulse ammo. The Minotaur card for the adamantine and since you can't get dragon fangs from cards , fight a t-rexaur a couple of times and he'll drop 6 Dragon fangs at a time. 2 more than what you need. Go to the nearest junkshop and Voila , the Lion heart in Disc 0ne.

Example: I played cards with Zell's mother. The random rule is in there. I got 4 lousy cards and a Seifer card. Zell's mother have all good cards,I of course lose the Seifer card. But no sweat! Just keep playing with her and keep winning her and soon she will have no choice but to use Seifer card.AND if you can win her,then you got back your Seifer card.

Random may be a killer but you can make it look like a small fly.You see,when there are random rules,you don't have to be afraid.The cards will ether be boss card or Gf card or player card! Kinda cool huh! E-mail me for any questions.

Diablo - From magic lamp Cid gives you, don't forget this! Get it before you leave the Balamb!

Grashaboras(Goulish) - Obtain 6 Remedies, 6 Molbor Tenticles, 6 Iron Pipes and Solomon's Ring, then use Solomon's Ring.

Sabotendar (Cactor) - Sabotendar can be found on Cactuar Island. You can find this island southeast the Setora Ruins. Once you arrive you'll notice a small cactaur running around. Make contact to initiate the battle

Admantine can be aquired by stealing it from BGH251F2 with mug ability or by using card mod on the minotaur's card

Dragon Fangs are droped by Blue Dragons, T-rexaur's.Blue Dragons can be found in the bika forests right outside of the trabia garden

Pulse Ammo can be aquired by muging Blitzes for a power generator.Power generator's are rare to mug from a blitz so getting it may take a while. Blitzez can be found in the sarenghetti forest by the centra ruins.

Keep Squall in Yellow, it's fun

Keep your G.F.'s happy, but don't use them too often, your SeeD rankings go down... just like running away a lot.

If at first you don't succeed, throw your controller at the screen screaming how bad of a game this is. j/k, this is a really awesome game, try finding the enemy's weakness and exploit, exploit, exploit!

If at first you don't succeed, try again!

Spend you time drawing Melt from an enemy with Laguna in the 3rd disk, don't be afraid to stop the enemys to do so.

To use limit, use Aura or be at low health. If it doesn't apear right away, don't fret! Just keep hitting Triangle.

In Galbadia Garden go play everyone cards there, collect as many cards as you can. Then use Quazlcoat's Ability 'Change cards to Items' and change Toonberry to Cutting Knife, fight the guys around Gulbadia Garden to get a lot of Bolts, get 2 of the card on the 5th page-1st card, and turn 3 Adamantian turtles into Shell. You don't need the magazine to buy the Weapon, you just need all the materials, and it will show up in the shop, the magazines are for you to know what items you need. Details by Sniper Wolf

The only cheat I found (Cheat as in W-Item type) was being able to junction one magic to 5 different slots, on the same character. First you need the magic, say Ultima. Have 100 of them on Squall or whoever. Now you need to have Ultima junctioned on let's say, HP. Your other 3 Junctions are (For only using on 4), Attack, Elemental Defence, and Speed, put any type of magic on those, just remember what you put (ie. fire on Attack, shell on Elemental Defence, and Haste on Speed). Make sure you have no other Ultima, fire, shell, or haste on anyone else! Now go to the Magic screen, put 1 Ultima on Zell, Selphie, and Rinoa. Then trade fire for your 1 ultima on Selphie, shell for the 1 ultima on Zell, and haste for the 1 ultima on Rinoa. Go back to the Junction screen and admire! Don't take off Ultima or they all will go. If you messed up on any of these processes, start over, or you will be missing Ultimas on a few slots. You can give back haste and junk to Squall afterwards too. The maximum slots is 5, but you can do 2 or 3. ****This only works on the Japanese****

Ultima Weapon is at the bottom of the Underwater Reaserch Facility, the place where you got Bahamut. There are pretty nasty enemies down there, so be careful, like it matters if you have everyone at level 100, which you should. Also, have Squall's Best Weapon equiped. First, you climb down the vine, then go hit the control panel, it will take off 4 points. In order to succed, you need 10 points left over. Go down stairs, now go to the other control panel and take off 2 points. Go down and hit the control panel nearest to where you came down, take off 1. Now there is another control panel there, hit it and take 4 off, go through the door that opens and add 7 points back on. Go out and go down, take off 1 point from the control panel and go on the elevator. Take off 4 points to get past this door, then it's a matter of fighting/walking down to the bottom. When you get down there, kill off Squall then finish the battle/run away. Use raise to bring him back alive, and keep him in the yellow. Hit the control panel and after a long sceen, you fight Ultima Weapon. The key to this battle is having Squall's Speed and Attack up. Use his D-Move on Ultima. It took me 4 limits to kill him.

To beat Omega, you should have Squall, Rinoa, and Quistis in your party. Have everyone at max HP, highest evasion, highest speed, luck, and highest power. Have Death junctioned to status defence and for status attack, I heard don't put holy, but I put nothing just incase. Have Eden at level 50 or higher and life at 9,999. Try to have Squall's Lionheart, and have Squall enter the battle with Automatic Haste (Cerebus' Ability). Give Rinoa the ability to cast Melt and Leviathan's Fullcure. Give Quistis Eden, try to have him very happy so he goes fast. Before you enter the fight, enter a battle and kill off Squall. Leave the battle and cast Life1 on him or use a pheonix down, slow down the batlle speed to it's slowest. In the battle, have Squall use his Limit and Quistis use Eden, have Rinoa cast Melt on Ultima, any order, just do it. If you can't get Squall's limit, keep hitting triangle until you do. Just keep pounding Omega until he dies. Have Rinoa absorb Ultima's or use Omega's Ultima's against him. Have Quistis keep casting Eden, and Squall keep using his limits.

To meet Omega, you first need to get your main party to the switching point near the fountain. Have your other party, from the entrance go up the stairs, to the right and in the door, go down stairs, then pull the rope for the bell... you should have 60 seconds to switch party members and all, but 10 seconds is used up by Zell looking up at the bell. Switch the party and go in the room straight ahead. Omega Weapon is hard to miss, so just talk to him.

Beating Adel

Here is how to beat Adel easily.Right when the battle begins,caste HASTE on everyone.(Dont worry about attacking!)Adel will first cast Meteor,but just take it in it isnt that strong!Now with a guy who can use items,use Mega Potion.(get Mega Potion by refining 4 tents into one Mega Potion.It recovers 1000hp to everyone.Use Recovery med from item ability.)On your next turn, cast SHELL on everyone.Once again,dont worry about using attacks.When HASTE and SHELL are on, get one guy to use Mega Potion constantly.Use your other two guys to kick the crap out of Adel with the DARKSIDE ability.If you do not have DARKSIDE,it is still pretty good to use regular attacks.Do this and everything should go real smooth and easy!
