The Expendables 3 continues to add ageing action men to its already creaking cast, with Antonio Banderas the latest name to be added to the team sheet.
No word as yet as to whether Banderas will join Stallone's team of badasses, or whether he’ll be one of the bad guys. What we do know is that he’ll get to fire some big guns.
The Wrap has also confirmed that Mel Gibson is definitely on board for the forthcoming sequel, with the controversial star set to play the villain of the piece.
The news follows hot on the heels of Harrison Ford’s signing on, with Bruce Willis going the opposite way after a reported dispute over his fee.
Directed by Patrick Hughes and starring the usual collection of muscled old campaigners, The Expendables 3 will open in the UK on 15 August 2014.
