If war is as beautiful as it appears in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, then sign us up now. The new shots from Quake's fun factory make it clear that the developers plan on lobbing a live grenade into Battlefield 2142's foxhole.
Why? One look and you can see for yourself that Quake Wars is going to have an irresistible pull, not only for gamers who love team-based shooters, but also those who ache for something truly next-gen. Incredibly detailed foliage, over-the-top vehicle and character design and some extremely compelling gameplay elements are in the works.
This is the future shooter that we are laser-focused on.
Hit the Images tab above to peep out the shots of Quake Wars with nary an in-game advertisement in sight.
