Metal Gear Solid 5 PS4 coming to the EU

Back in March when Konami announced the beautifully shiny limited edition limited edition Metal Gear Solid 5 PS4 (opens in new tab) it was only confirmed for Asia. Now, just to laugh in the face of your plain old PS4, the bionic arm inspired console will be released in the EU for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (opens in new tab)'s launch on September 1st.

The PS4 is glossy red with gold trim and Diamond Dogs logo while the Dual Shock 4 is a metallic grey to match Snake's trusty handgun. With the PS4 copy of the Day 1 Edition bundled in, this might just be the console to take your preorder away from Batman Arkham Knight's limited edition PS4 (opens in new tab).

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we're getting the bionic hand that comes with the bundle in Asia but that's not going to stop you throwing money at the screen right now. Just remember, to give you a Kojima themed Sophie's Choice, you've probably got P.T on your current console. Are you ready to pick?
