The results are in. Big winners were Birdman which took four gongs including Best Film and Best Director for Alejandro González Iñárritu and The Grand Budapest Hotel which bagged four awards, while Whiplash took three. Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore took Best Actor and Actress respectively. Less love than expected for Boyhood which got just the one award – for Patricia Arquette as Best Supporting Actress.
