Two Worlds - The Temptation promises to build on the game's story, introduce new territories and add active blocking to the combat system.

"Many other additional developments have been added - developments which have enabled a completely new means of transport and a much enhanced reaction from NPCs - but more on these and a whole host of other surprises shortly!" TopWare said in a short but enthusiastic press release today.

"Set several years after the original, The Temptation is an add-on that will put a greater emphasis on the Elves, a race that played only a marginal role in Two Worlds. The expansion will feature all-new regions to explore, new enemies (giant spiders, flying demons, etc.), improved AI and NPC behavior, reworked Drak'ar and Oswaroh environments, the ability to actively repel hits with your shield and much more. Developed by Reality Pumps, The Temptation, originally the name for the PS3 port, is currently scheduled for Q2 2008."

He told Eurogamer in an exclusive interview that despite obvious similarities between the two titles, his has much more going on under the surface, and has improved upon Bethesda's creation in nearly every area.

"Our inventory system is smarter, our magic system is much more complex and even the way we handle horses has more depth. Beyond those game mechanics, we have a much more complex society, with many more factions working within it. On top of that, our overarching storyline is a touch darker and more involved. That's not to say that Oblivion is a worse game, just that Two Worlds has more 'meat'."
There was a slightly weird moment when we found out that in Two Worlds the smolderingly nubile young lady featured in the game is your sister.

We asked Dirk Hassinger, chairman of the games publisher, if he didnt think it was a bit... strange to make the sibling of your in-game character so sexually charged. “It is important she looks like that,” he said in his thick German accent. We were about to respond when he leaned in a little closer than we were comfortable with and spoke ...

The upcoming Xbox 360/PC MMO Two Worlds is putting a lot on the table - you might say it's bringing the world, by bringing the proven formula of last year's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to the oh-so-hot right now massively multiplayer online genre.

Although it's recently been delayed, Zuxxee Entertainment revealed to UK based Edge magazine that they won't be following the trend many MMOs such as World of Warcraft have created by offering up multiplayer action free of charge.
Some hefty words of bravoda right there, but it looks like they are backing up there words so-far according to Heiko who got some hand on time with the PC version. Not only did he witness green hills, dense forests, swampland, picture-beautiful beaches, white glaciers, detailed vegetation with high draw distance, detailed animations using Motion Capturing and impressive weather and night and day cycles.
From: Volatile
Who did: Reservoir Dogs
And live in: Leamington Spa, UK

With Dead Rising bringing the office to a virtual standstill, our interest in this zombie-flavored horror game has been reignited. The twist here is that instead of battling zombie hordes, you actually control them... "you" being The Enslaver, a mutated ...
Just drag-and-drop your selected ingredients from the inventory to the cooking pot! All kinds of plants you find, including herbs and mushrooms, are suitable for "Two Worlds" alchemy - and you can use ready-to-drink potions and parts of dead animals and monsters, as well as minerals and bombs. The possibilities are practically endless, but all these ingredients have their own individual properties - so give your mixture some thought beforehand if you want to achieve the right results!
We received our first screenshots of Two Worlds today, thus confirming that the game will follow the ancient RPG tradition of fighting wild boars at some point. What were hoping will set the game apart from the rest of the RPG pack (aside from nice looking boars), is its claim to give the player the ability to shape and change a completely living world, more than any other game before. ...
The State of RPGs: Xbox 360 (News)

Telling your friends you just bought an Xbox 360 wouldn't exactly indicate you'd just bought a machine with an RPG rich catalogue. As of right now, there's only one RPG available on the system, Bethesda's excellent The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and one MMORPG, Square's Final Fantasy XI. However, over the next few years the perception of the Xbox 360 is certain to change. Though not all are high-profile titles such as Final Fantasy, Valkyrie Profile, or Dragon Quest, there are a surprising number of role-playing titles in development for Microsoft's sleek white machine.
RPGs can arguably be described as the most vital genre for a console. Years after release, it's generally the RPGs that are remembered the fondest. After all, they've got detailed characters, intricate storylines, generally 20 or more hours of gameplay, and generally involve much more player emotional involvement and investment than other genres. One thing we're seeing on the Xbox 360 that wasn't evident on the Xbox is the support of Japanese RPGs. Microsoft and Mistwalker are teaming up to bring Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to Japan, a territory where Xbox 360 sales are as impressive as a slice of bread. Thankfully, Blue Dragon is also being brought West next year, giving American Xbox 360 gamers a chance to experience a big-budget JRPG on their next generation console.

Moving past Blue Dragon, BioWare is bringing its next big title to Xbox 360 as well. Mass Effect has been nothing but impressive so far. Since the franchise is planned as a trilogy across the Xbox 360's lifespan, we're hoping for great things. RPG fans will also get BioShock, a title from Irrational Games that looks so good it won our Overall Game of the Show award for E3 2006. A number of online multiplayer games are being developed for Microsoft's console as well, including EA's Project Gray Company, Sega's Phantasy Star Universe, an upcoming Marvel MMO, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Other games such as Elveo...
