MCV: Ubisoft has plans to make its Tom Clancy franchise a true heavyweight in the wider entertainment world after the series reached a spectacular 52 million in lifetime unit sales.

Following last year's link-up with Ubisoft on Assassin's Creed, LOVEFiLM has announced a similar partnership with the publisher on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - a move which it is hoped will continue the momentum for the company's game division.

Apparently, the bugs that gamers have been experiencing with the PS3 version of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are not confined to just the PS3 version. Many gamers have reported that they were unable to connect to servers, the game would freeze and require a restart, and many reports of connections being dropped caused Ubisoft to look into the issues.
Ubisoft today confirmed on their community forums that a patch to fix the Private First Class achievement in Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is in development. The achievement doesn't unlock because players who have a Rainbow Six: Vegas (One) save file, receive a bonus which takes the total XP to a rank above Private First Class.

We will start with the bad news. Those players with a save file from Rainbow Six: Vegas have missed out on the 10GS achievement of " Private First Class Achievement" as you get an extra boost of XP missing this rank, there is a fix out for it but its seems difficultly painful for most gamers.
Hushed Casket points out that people who purchased Rainbow Six Vegas 2 from Best Buy were given a code to unlock a free gun in the game. The thing is the code was printed on a sticker on the outside of the game. Better still it can be used by anyone who owns the game.
