Speaking to Famitsu, Capcom has revealed it's sales expectations for Resident Evil 5. The believe, based on the popularity of the demo, which is available for the PS3 and 360 in Japan, that Resident Evil 5 will sell at least 500K copies in Japan at launch. Further, they expect the title to sell 5-6 million copies worldwide during it's lifetime.
The promised Resident Evil 5 demo is now available on Xbox Live. Play by yourself or play with a partner in co-op mode, either online or offline with a split screen.

Capcom has just contacted D+PAD to inform them that the 2-16 player system link rumour revealed this morning is in fact an error. The rumour started when D+PAD spotted that the boxart of the limited edition steelbook stated that 2-16 players would be able to play the game via system link.
