Square Enix has recently announced that whoever pre-orders Star Ocean: Second Evolution will receive a bonus Tri-Ace promotional DVD that features new and old trailers of the company. The contents of the DVD have been revealed by Famitsu:
Infinite Undiscovery, a new role playing game for the Xbox 360, was announced by Microsoft Corp. just before the Tokyo Game Show. Beyond some screenshots and a brief trailer, not much has been disclosed about the action role-playing game. Yahoo! sat down off the Game Show floor with Square Enix Producer Hajime Kojima and TriAce Director Hiroshi Ogawa, who was also the main planner for Star Ocean 3, to find out more.
In a meeting with Hiroshi Ogawa, Director for Infinite Undiscovery, and Hajime Kojima, Producer for the title, IGN learned for a second time at TGS this year that a game coming to Xbox 360 would require multiple discs. This time around, it's Infinite Undiscovery.
The recent Microsoft's pre-TGS conference finally showed the first trailer to Infinite Undiscovery, Tri-Ace's upcoming RPG for the Xbox360. In the latest issue of Japanese publication Famitsu, further details were revealed on the title. The main antagonist Capel is known to many as the "Capel, the flute player and healer". The young man's appearance is similar to the legendary hero Sigmunt, and he is mistakenly arrested and jailed by the Sealed Army. The game's heroine is Aya, a member of the Resistance Army, who attempts to rescue Capel without the knowledge that he is not actually the legendary hero.
Infinite Undiscovery is Developed by tri-Ace, the team responsible for Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile, Infinite Undiscovery is an all-new RPG developed for the Xbox 360.
Square Enix producer Hajime Kojima and Tri-ace producer Hiroshi Ogawa took the stage to give first details on Infinite Undiscovery, which has been shrouded in secrecy since its announcement last year.
If there's one thing Xbox 360 needs in Japan it's top quality RPGs. If there's one thing Xbox 360 outside of Japan, it's top quality RPGs? So with over ten years of RPG experience under his belt, producer Yoshiharu Gotanda will lead the charge for Xbox 360 in Japan.
This is an epic RPG created by tri-Ace, developer of the big hit series Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile, and Microsoft Game Studios. Over 10 years of ideas from Yoshiharu Gotanda, the producer of Infinite Undiscovery and president of tri-Ace, will become a reality on Xbox 360.
New information leaping from the obscenely colorful pages of Famitsu reveals a brand new Tri-Ace RPG for the Xbox 360 -- the uncomfortably named Infinite Undiscovery. Widely known for the in-your-face epics, Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile, the Japanese developer has released little information regarding the fantasy title thus far, with GAF mentioning real-time battles and support for online play. While the game is unlikely to have any relation to last year's smash hit, Everlingering Nonemergence*, it is very much an important coup in Microsoft's continuing battle against apathy in Japan.
